History of the Practice

The Queen Anne Optometry Clinic was established in 1978 by Dr. Larry Otten. The practice grew rapidly and Dr. Otten built up an excellent reputation in the community. After 24 years of practice, Dr. Otten sold the practice to Dr. Eric Bergstrom in December of 2001. Dr. Bergstrom continues to provide quality, personalized eyecare. You will not spend 60 minutes waiting for five minutes with the doctor. Eye exams can last from 20 to 45 minutes depending on what you need. You will also not spend 20 minutes with a technician that does most of the work. Doctors Bergstrom and Lo do all the testing! Most visits are kept within ten minutes of the scheduled appointment time. We trust that you will be satisfied by the eyecare given here.

Over the last nine years, the QA eye clinic has continued to grow because of your trust and support.  During these years, we have updated technology and employed friendly staff to meet the demands of our growing practice.  As part of our commitment to providing the best care and service, Dr. Philip Lo was added to the staff in June 2008. 

Our continued growth led to the need for a larger space.  In February 2011 we moved our office to 20 Boston St. so we can provide more appointment times and a larger eyewear selection.  We are close to Queen Anne Ave. and have ample parking available for our patients.  Newer technologies have been added and we look forward to providing high quality eyecare in our new location.
